Chef David Burke recently updated Fromagerie's dining rooms with new décor and selections from his extensive private art collection, adding a more elegantly casual ambiance to the building that once housed this historic area's original post office and later, a Prohibition-era speakeasy. Vibrant red walls now showcase David's art work and collectables to great effect, with white leather bar stools and a sleek white Corian bar creating a lively and welcoming 35-seat space for drinks and casual dining.
Two fireplaces and a curving wall of windows in the gracious 65-seat main dining room create a bright, sunny atmosphere in spring and summer which transitions to warm and cozy come autumn and winter. A tucked-away alcove with its own fireplace can seat up to 15 and become your private dining room within our dining room. In all seasons, guests feel as welcomed as they would in a comfortably elegant private home or inn. Thoughtful touches, such as mini ottomans on which to rest a guest's purse quietly lend a special charm to each dining experience.
